Handmade Costumes

Custom Idol Costumes - PRISMIC IDOLS

A custom set of 5 unique costumes was commissioned by US based Idol Group, PRISMIC in 2021. These costumes are inspired by magical cheerleaders. The fabric choices reflect this, as I used shimmery accents to enhance the on stage appearance. The back design features embroidery from a local Brisbane supplier.

The project started in February of 2021, and took 2 months in production. The Fabrics were sourced from online.

PRISMIC wore these costumes to Holiday Matsuri 2021, which is a popular event amongst fans of Japanese culture. You can view their performance here on YouTube.

IDOL Lumine - Genshin Impact

This costume was commissioned by a cosplayer from the USA in early 2021. It is the most detailed of my work to date, featuring several handmade patterns and includes custom 3D print work from a fellow Brisbane Artist.

The design is a fan made version of Lumine from Genshin Impact. This project took an entire year to create, as sourcing the materials and 3D printing took quite a lot of in depth research.

Idol Costume - Ai Miyashita
Love Live School Idol Festival

This costume was commissioned by a cosplayer from Germany in 2021. The design is for the character "Ai Miyashita" from a game called "Love Live School Idol Festival".

The Brasier is handmade, along with all the complicated details hand sewn into each piece. It features elastic for a custom fit for the wearer. It took around 3 months to create this costume from scratch.

The cosplayer has worn this costume to events in Germany.

Vtuber Costume - Meikasama

This costume was commissioned by a Vtuber from the USA in late 2020. The design is for their original character "Meika" that they use as an avatar in their online streams.

This costume has beautiful ribbon detailing, along with custom 3D printed cat faces. The patterns were modelled off a Japanese Seifuku School uniform design. The skirt is a circle skirt that has box pleats for extra volume, with horsehair braid in the hemming for more bounce.

Meika has worn this costume to events in the USA and posts content online featuring the garments.
